A highly attenuated, sweet and malty beer with a dry finish. Think a classy saison with a, earthy, spicy, floral hop presence up front, finishing with a subtle banana kick from the yeast. There is also a nice little farmhouse funk for ya. This is essentially a French style of Belgian strong beer that was first served at train stations across that nation, becoming popular during the first World War. (Fun fact: the reason these were brewed in the winter and spring in France was to keep breweries from having yeast issues.)
