This beer was designed to see how wine-like a simple saison could become by aging it on hops in the barrel with brettanomyces for a year.
The result is very different than the start! The final gravity of this beer is bone dry, yet there’s a substantial mouthfeel and complexity from the hops and brett. The typical white wine flavors are subtle at first and settle into a very fruity finish that lingers on the palate.
This is the first Brett beer, and the first bottle conditioned beer from Marz Community Brewing.
