The snow has melted, it’s foggy and balmy out, and we are drinking Floridaweiss on our front stoops looking for The Thing to come out.
Marz Floridaweiss is inspired by our peers in Florida who take tangy berliner weiss-style base beers and add all kinds of fruits and purees in order to make super juicy brews. Although you can enjoy them in the Florida sun, we believe these beers are great any time of the year, especially in this god damn fog.
And of course, because we’re Marz, we had to crank the dial to 11 for our take on the style, upping the ABV and adding a cigar boat worth of delicious tropical fruit puree into the fermenter with our house souring cultures and yeast. The result is punchy wild ale that drinks like the fruitiest tiki drink – 151 floater not included. Also not included: sunscreen.
