May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
To celebrate we created a beer named after one of our favorite places to drink at while in Tokyo: Golden Gai.
Golden Gai is a rare remnant of Post WW 2 Tokyo and is a scruffy series of six alleys that host inumerable amount of tiny bars and izakaya serving up cocktails, good beer and sake.
Golden Gai, our Golden Ale with Lychee, is a medium bodied beer and has a great melon, strawberry vibe making it an utterly refreshing beer.
We were lucky enough to wander through the scruffy district recently and marvelled at the vibrant street artist gallery that is covered in stickers and wheatpastes old and new. We also added to the cacophony.
It was only natural for us to ask one of our favorite artists, @hori_miso to create the artwork for the label. We have some limited edition stickers for you to take home after you enjoy a refreshing draft or take home a 4 pack. Kanpai!
