Hazy IPA with Wine Juice

Our Hazy IPA fermenter has been getting into the season early, hitting the white wine and hogging the karaoke machine to belt out holiday hits. Slightly different than last year’s batch, this time around we brewed our base NE IPA with a blend of Hallertau Blanc, Amarillo, Green Ghost and Mosaic–providing a hop profile of white grapes, gooseberry, green apple cider, and freshly chopped spruce. We then added a blend of white wines Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat into the fermenter to give our yeast a holiday party of their own. And sure enough, things quickly got out of hand, resulting in a hazy IPA with a vibrant nose, bright mouthfeel, and tropical finish.
