A pale blonde ale that is highly attenuated. Trappist-style ales have a fruity-spicy yeast character, a spicy-floral hop profile, and a soft, supportive grainy-sweet malt palate. This ale is traditionally served with a billowy white head to demonstrate good lacing. This is a bit like Belgium’s version of a German pilsner.
