The Table Beer has long been a staple of Belgian and European brew houses, designed to provide a perfect liquid accompaniment to family-style meals. In typical Marz fashion we took some liberties with the table beer style by removing the Belgian yeast and fermentation, bumping up the ABV a touch, and adding two rounds of dry hops to impart more flavor while decreasing bitterness.
We used Pekko and Hallertau Blanc hops to give this table beer a floral mint, juniper, white grape, and lemongrass profile. An immensely quaffable beer without the worry of high ABV.
