We made Toucan Chan with our beloved Pastry Chef buddy, Erika Chan of Brite Donuts. We asked her what she wanted to do and with a little breakfast cereal inspiration we came up with Toucan Chan’s Citrus Cardamom Sparkler, a Hazy India Pale Ale with green cardamom and citrus zests at 6% ABV. The cardamom leads with generous mixed fruit notes while the citrus zests and dry hop additions of Idaho 7, Chinook and Citra balance out the beer with bold notes of tropical fruit, specifically grapefruit peel, orange, lemon and lime. It finishes slightly sweet. It’s a regular fruit basket. No need to add milk. We put lactose in there for ya.
