Dumpling Wars

We’re on a mission to find the best damn dumpling in Chicago! Join us for the first annual Dumpling Wars. Over twenty contestants will be cooking up delicious dumplings for the chance to be crowned The Dumpling Queen (or King).

A dumpling is fried, boiled, baked, or steamed dough stuffed with some kind of meat, cheese or vegetables. You know em, you love em, come judge em.

Purchase a Pass to try every dumpling or try a few à la carte by purchasing tickets in advance.

Dim Sum Pass – 1 dumpling from our 20+ contestants ($35- while suppllies last)

Dim Sum Sampler – 6 dumplings ($10)

*You may also purchase tickets to exchange for dumplings at the event itself.

The Dumpling Queen (or King) will be crowned by a panel of elite dumpling experts in a top secret deliberation. And, of course, we need your votes to crown The People’s Champion. Vote for your top 3 dumplings by placing your ballot in your favorite chef’s ballot box.

Proceeds from the event will go to Project Vision,  an organization that gives tools to aid the youth of Chicago’s Chinatown, Bridgeport, and McKinley Park neighborhoods in their educational, personal, and civic development.
