Tygrisku is our first attempt at blending our bubbly creek style quick wild ales with a heavily hopped IPA. The result is a lightly tart and refreshing golden ale that drinks like a pale ale with the sour aspect of the wild emphasizing the fruity hop flavors and finishing like a shandy.
We barrel–aged this blend with additional brett strains, and this final 4 cask blend was moderately dry hopped for a few weeks with Simcoe and Idaho 7 in the blending tank before being bottled and conditioned with champagne yeast. The layers of young and old hop additions have a crazy fruit complexity with guava, kiwi, strawberry, and lime flavors.
